The Board of Directors which consists of 5 Directors drawn from London Borough of Hillingdon Tenants and Leaseholders, 5 Independent Directors and 5 Council nominated Directors meets 6 times a year. The Board's central role is to direct and lead the Company at a strategic level. Day to day management of the Company is delegated to the Chief Executive Officer. The Board determines the Company's strategy, sets its vision and objectives and defines the Company's core values.

The Board has overall responsibility for the way the Company is managed including ensuring that the Company conducts its business lawfully. Major decisions about the way Hillingdon Homes Limited works are made by the Board of Directors. Directors are collectively responsible for decisions they make as a Board. Responsibility for the running of the Company ultimately rests with the Board.

The Directors are accountable to the shareholder and use the Annual General Meeting to account to the shareholder for their stewardship of the Company's resources and assets and conduct of the Company's business.
