Ship Ahoy!
Roger Elliott, is a tenant board member who is committed to helping Hillingdon continue to be a strong community. He therefore has worked tirelessly for the London Borough of Hillingdon for 37 years in many different areas dealing with residents' concerns and problems.
Over the years, Roger has undertaken voluntary work with many organisations in the Borough, and currently works with the Hillingdon Police Consultative Committee and the Hillingdon Wheelchair Users Group. He also chairs the Disabled Tenants and Residents Group and is a member of his local ward's policing panel.
The life on the ocean wave beckons as when he is not busy with his voluntary work, Roger enjoys tall-ship sailing and travelling to far flung corners of the world. As he comments "Being a tenant board member is great as you can really make a difference. I feel that with all my working knowledge and my other outside interests I can represent tenants' views and push forward the strategic needs of Hillingdon Homes."
